Jim Kloppenburg

Jim is the founder and portfolio manager of Evershot Capital Management and has over thirty years of experience focused on equity investments.

Experience:

Most recently, Jim was the president and senior portfolio manager for the Needham Funds, the public security investment management arm of the Needham Group. At Needham, Jim managed both hedge fund and mutual fund assets, including the Needham Emerging Growth Fund, LP and the Needham Aggressive Growth Fund. Prior to Needham, Jim was a senior institutional salesman and managing director at Hambrecht & Quist in NY from 1994-2001, head of sales and investment policy at Needham & Co from 1985-1994, institutional salesman at Cyrus J. Lawrence from 1982-1985, and he began his career as an equity portfolio manager for the Pension Investment Group of Bankers Trust Company in 1978.
